About me

The handle ‘Arri’ was a nickname I was called early, and it just stuck till this day. Unfortunately, there is no cool story behind it.

Technology was always a big part of my childhood, because my father works in the technology field. I was lucky to always be exposed to computers, so I was taught early how they worked. I always enjoyed tinkering with electronics to try and figure things out. My father gave me a laptop with a Linux distro on it and taught me how to use that system. In high school I started to become more interested in what vulnerabilities technology had, and what was needed to fix them. It was around that time that I realized cyber security was something that I enjoyed and it really caught my interest.

I took some classes on Python, HTML, CSS, and Java in high school and college. I use Python frequently, but I can read and alter many other languages. I am better at using Linux distros than Windows, although Windows is the OS that I have used the most.

I eventually found learning tools, like VulnHub and TryHackMe, that helped me increase my knowledge. These platforms allowed me to further learn about exploiting vulnerabilities and other aspects of pen testing. I have made this site to share my journey and accomplishments while I attend Penn State to earn my Cyber Security degree.

My current certifications include:

  • OffSec Certified Professional+ (OSCP+)
  • OffSec Certified Professional(OSCP)
  • CompTIA Pentest+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CompTIA CySA+
  • CompTIA Linux+
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Cloud+
  • CompTIA A+
  • CSAP (CompTIA Security Analytics Professional)
  • CISO (CompTIA IT Operations Specialist)
  • CSIS (CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist)
  • CSCP (CompTIA Secure Cloud Professional)
  • CSSS (CompTIA Systems Support Specialist)
  • CLNP (CompTIA Linux Network Professional)
  • CCAP (CompTIA Cloud Admin Professional)
  • CNSP (CompTIA Network Security Professional)
  • CNVP (CompTIA Network Vulnerability Assessment Professional)

There are so many amazing cybersecurity individuals that I follow across many different platforms. All of these people inspire me to continue my cybersecurity journey and allow me to see the many various aspects that are involved in the field.

I hope you guys enjoy the content and it helps your learning. Please feel free to reach out to me with questions or thoughts, I will do my best to respond as fast as I can.

Thanks for stopping by and happy hacking! Rock You!! 🙂
